DROVE

THE BILLBOARD SAID, “PLEASE DRIVE SAFE AND Y’ALL COME BACK AGAIN”, THOUGHT ABOUT THE YEARS, JAMMED THROUGH THE GEARS RIGHT UP TO 110, SOME DREAMS MAY BE PLASTIC, BUT MINE WERE IRON AND STEEL, I FELT THE ROAR, PUT MY FOOT TO THE FLOOR, BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL

CHORUS AND I JUST DROVE, WITH ALL THE PASSION OF HEAVEN ITSELF, I JUST DROVE, TO TAKE MY DREAMS RIGHT OFF THE SHELF, I WAS A HEMI-POWERED CHRYSLER SCREAMING DOWN THE ROAD, LIKE A SIDEWINDER MISSILE READY TO EXPLODE, WHEN ALL WAS SAID AND DONE, I JUST DROVE

THROUGH THE REAR VIEW MIRROR, I COULD SEE BACK IN TIME, THEN I TORE IT FROM ITS MOUNT AND TOSSED IT IN THE SEAT BEHIND, CAUSE WHERE I WAS GOING, THERE WOULD BE NO LOOKING BACK, FAR TOO YOUNG TO REALIZE THE COMMITMENT THAT I LACKED

CHORUS AND I JUST DROVE.....

BRIDGE THE HORIZON TRIES TO OVERTAKE ME FROM BEHIND, BUT I REALIZE I’D MUCH RATHER BE BLIND

CHORUS AND I JUST DROVE....

YOU ARE ALL I DREAM OF

I had a dream about you last night
An angel that walked into the light
Your face appeared, right out of the blue
Walking along without any cares
All of my plans still up in the air
Till I met you, right out of the blue
One look and one deep sigh, you got me without even trying

CHORUS You are all I dream of
Each and every minute of the day
And I love your sweet voice, it speaks to me
It takes my breath away
You are all I care for
I can see the softness in your eyes
You are all I want
You’re all I need,
You are all I dream of

I always hid the way that I felt
When you're around me, your smile melts
Away my fears, right out of the blue
I can laugh at myself out loud
Walking beside you, I’m up in the clouds

CHORUS You are all I dream of….

BRIDGE When I’m feeling all alone, I know just what to do
To brighten up my darkest hour, I just think of you

CHORUS You are all I dream of….
